Àmà là is a Nigerian food made out of yam and/or cassava flour. Yams are peeled, sliced, cleaned, dried, and then blended into a flour called elubo. Yams are white in color but turn brown when dried; this gives à mà là its color. Àmà là is from Western Africa and is eaten mostly by the Yoruba people in Nigeria. It can be served with Eforiro or Egusi or Ogbono or Ilasepo with Beef or assorted Meat.
